I'm so glad you're here.
I'm the heart behind Jess Trankle Images, a Buffalo, New York wedding and portrait photographer serving couples and families throughout Western New York and beyond. Since 2017, I've had the privilege of documenting love stories, growing families, and life's most meaningful milestones with a timeless, true-to-color approach.
To me, photography is about so much more than beautiful images. It's about the way a moment felt, the anticipation before you walk down the aisle, the tears during a first dance, the laughter that happens when no one realizes the camera is there, and the little moments you'll cherish for years to come.
My goal is to create photographs that feel just as authentic decades from now as they do today.

That's why I approach every session with intention, patience, and genuine care. My hope is that when you look back at your photographs years from now, you'll remember not only what everything looked like, but how it felt.

I know that being in front of a camera can feel intimidating. That's why I believe the best photographs happen when you feel comfortable, relaxed, and completely yourself.
I'll gently guide you when you need direction and step back when the moments naturally unfold. Rather than focusing on perfectly posed images, I create space for real connection, authentic emotion, and memories that tell your story honestly.

When I'm not photographing weddings, elopements, seniors, newborns, events and families, you will find me having fun with my husband Tony and our two children, Gwenna + Lio.
On a sunny day you will find us biking, at the playground, or on a nature hike looking for treasures
In wintertime, you can find us escaping snowy Buffalo, to the Marriott in Puerto Vallarta, our favorite vacation spot.
